The Campos de España concept has emerged from the fusion of our knowledge of the Spanish wine industry and the needs of world wine markets in the 21st century.

The traditional way of explaining Spanish wines is through its Denominations of Origin, but the sheer number of regions confuse the average consumer. A simpler approach is to look at the major grape varieties, which correspond fairly closely to the country's major geographic regions.

There are other wines beyond Rioja
Garnacha from the valley of the Ebro River, Tempranillo from the high plains, Monastrell from the arid south-east, Cava from the northern Mediterranean... Campos de España is a range of wines made from individual grape varieties from the major climate regions of Spain.
